Inspired by Kylie’s Flight Path

These young women are chasing their aviation dreams with the same determination and spirit that Kylie brought to everything she did. Several flight students have been awarded a memorial scholarship. Check back soon to learn about additional recipients.

Shelbe Jarret

Inaugural Recipient · Student-Athlete

Shelbe was the first recipient of the Women in Aviation Kylie Murray Memorial Scholarship. Like Kylie, she balanced athletics, academics, and multiple jobs while pursuing her flight training. She completed her MEI rating at ATP Flight School in Smyrna, TN.

Jacqueline Cako

2025 Recipient · Former Division I Tennis Player & Professional Athlete

Jacqueline’s application rose to the top because she embodies so many qualities Kylie possessed — a love for aviation and athletics with a large, devoted, and diverse group of friends. She earned her MEI rating at ATP in Scottsdale, Arizona Flight School in March 2025.

Lauren Stettbacher

2026 Recipient · Student-Athlete

Lauren is a leader, student-athlete, and passionate aviator who demonstrates what can be achieved at a young age — and that flying doesn’t need to be all-consuming.
